Manhattan Business Meet Up – 4/22 
The K-State Career Center and Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce are hosting a Manhattan Business Meet Up on April 22nd from 5:30-7:00pm at the Berney Family Welcome Center. This event is aimed at connecting students with local employers for internships, job and networking opportunities, and building a link between students and the local resources available to them. CBA Open House – Volunteers Needed 
K-State Open House will take place on April 18th from 9am-3pm, and is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the College of Business and connect with prospective students and the broader community. We encourage students to volunteer for this event. If you are interested in helping, please reach out to your Student Organization President or contact Luke Meis, President of the Dean’s Student Advisory Council.  

Business Internship Opportunities – Shellman  
Shellman is looking to hire qualified junior and senior students who are eager to gain hands-on professional experience for the summer of 2026. These fully remote internship opportunities are paid and experience-focused, meaning they are not intended to convert to full-time positions. We currently have roles in Project Management, Accounting, Client Services, Compliance, People & Talent, Marketing, and IT. Sales Internship Program – Dairy Farmers of America 
Dairy Farmers of America Insurance is excited to announce the Summer Internship Program for 2026. Interns work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to meaningful business projects, and gain exposure to day-to-day operations across the organization—particularly within a sales and business development environment. Interns will build and manage Salesforce leads, conduct market research for sourcing, assist with the sales process, and more. Sales & Business Internship Musselman & Hall 
Musselman & Hall is a construction company with nearly 100 years of experience specializing in concrete, asphalt, and railroad work across the Kansas City and St. Louis regions. We are currently looking to fill two summer internship positions – one in Business Development and one in Estimating. Fiscal Officer – Little Learners Childhood Connections 
Little Learners Childhood Connections is seeking a skilled and mission-driven Fiscal Officer to lead and oversee the organization’s financial operations. This leadership role is essential in ensuring fiscal integrity, regulatory compliance, and long-term sustainability for our state- and federally funded Head Start program serving children and families across our service area. This position will oversee all accounting and financial operations, develop and manage the organizational budget, analyze financial data, and more. Inventory Planner – PPC Flex  
The Inventory Planner is responsible for building and maintaining inventory stocking programs, incorporating forecast information received by customers based on customer specific agreements. This position leads the inventory planning process related to raw materials and finished good customer stocking programs for all S&OP Adopted PPC locations. CBA Outstanding Senior and Commencement Speaker   
Congratulations to Katie Albertson for being selected as the recipient of the CBA Outstanding Graduating Senior Award and to Noah Biswell for being selected as the Student Commencement Speaker.   

Katie Albertson, a native of Stilwell, KS, is the daughter of Sam and Deanne Albertson. While an undergraduate, Katie has demonstrated exceptional academic achievements by maintaining a 3.89 while pursuing dual majors in Organizational Management and Human Resource Management, a certificate in Data Analytics, and a graduate certificate in Conflict Resolution. Katie will begin law school beginning in Fall 2026.  

Her leadership and involvement across campus have made a lasting impact. Katie has served in numerous roles, including Attorney General, Student Governing Association; Director of Internal Relations, Pre-Law Ambassadors; Vice President of Membership, Women in Business; and Director of the Mentorship Program, Menards Family Scholars.  

Katie has been selected repeatedly to represent the College of Business in highly visible settings and consistently exemplifies professionalism, poise, and integrity. Her leadership, academic excellence, and commitment to service have had a meaningful and lasting impact on the CBA community. In its recommendation, the student-led Outstanding Graduating Senior Selection Committee noted: “Katie stands out for her exceptional balance of academics, leadership, and impact across the College of Business.”  

Noah Biswell, originally from Overland Park, KS, is the son of Jeremy and Brandi Biswell. Noah is earning a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and will join Meridian Business in Overland Park as an IT Consultant following graduation.  

During his undergraduate experience, Noah has been deeply engaged in leadership and service, including roles as Business Ambassador; President, Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization; and Student Mobilization Leader. He also participated in a global service initiative, working with fellow K-State students to refurbish laptops for students in Guatemala and traveling abroad to assist with their delivery.  

Noah is a skilled communicator and creative professional, with strengths in graphic design, audio/visual storytelling, and programming languages including JavaScript, C#, SQL, and Python, as well as data an AI tools. As a student leader, he is known for his energy, vision, work ethic, and ability to engage and motivate others. One nominated shared: “I am confident that Noah will deliver a message that is meaningful, relatable, and reflective of the excellence of the Class of 2026.”
